helpful reception back room detailed itinerary key location

i found parking outside with help from reception. the area seemed a bit rough. there was some commotion outside at night, but my room was at the back, so i didn't hear anything and slept soundly. the staff provided a hand drawn itinerary with a map. it covered key locations.

the area felt unsafe to walk around at night.

main rail station short walk bustling neighborhood

The hotel is very close to the main rail station. It was a short walk, maybe five minutes (very helpful with luggage!). The neighborhood had plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

main railway station friendly staff lack of curtain difficult shower

the location was very near the main railway station and buses. it was ideal for us because we wanted to explore the city and the wider region, though the receptionist was manned! the staff was friendly.

the cleanliness could have been better, though the lack of a curtain for the tub makes showering difficult. i didn't want water to spray all over the floor. the price and value relation was disappointing.
